Share with me your AFF first?

I received a wonderful e-mail today. He started it by saying "I joined because of you." Thank you! What a compliment.

It reminded me that not so long ago I too was a standard member. I had seen this one man's profile, and I was very, very intrigued. I winked at him, and winked at him and winked at him, and he never replied. So, I took the plunge and joined and composed my very first e-mail to another member. It didn't turn out the way I thought it would, but I have no regrets.

Did you join because someone's profile caught your eye and you knew you had to contact them? Please share ....

I don't exactly remember how I found the AdultFriendFinder site, but I decided immediately that I wanted to be able to look at profiles and that it was worth the money. That's how I started strengthening my rejection muscles.

Shortly after that I found the blogs, and it took me a while to conjure up the nerve to comment. But it looked fun, so I started one a shortly thereafter.

Blogging has taken up most of my AdultFriendFinder time, but I'm starting to travel the rejection trail again.

Oh, I forgot my other first on AdultFriendFinder. I never masturbated to a stained-glass window before. LOL

I actually joined this site because of the hype. AdultFriendFinder's marketing people really earn thier paychecks. I thought that I was going to be able to pick and chose encounters at the drop of a hat. They even got me buy a gold membership for a couple of months. After a little more than a year on AdultFriendFinder, I have to question what's the difference?

LOL. You're gonna think I'm a dork, but I joined because of your profile. I tried contacting you, but it wouldn't let me. It kept telling me to get points or join. I thought maybe if I uploaded pics I'd get enough points to contact you. I have to WAIT until they approve them or some such nonsense. So, I got out my debit card, signed up for a silver membership, tried again and it didn't work. It said I had to upgrade my membership to gold. So, I did. Come to find out...all I had to do was close the browser, reopen and log back in! I spent an hour screwing around with that.
