Going thru hell--lyrics and dedication

So many friends on this site are having troubles. Job loss. Illness. I'm sure there are others, but these seem the major themes I'm running into. I heard this song on the radio while driving home, and it seemed appropriate for my own self... and so I wanted to share it. (Well: minus a few sections that repeat at the end). And for those who wonder: Yes, i DO listen to country music, roughly 5% of the time. And to those friends who are struggling to get back on your feet, or to just keep your heads above water.... this one's for you. May we find ourselves on the other side with no more troubles, and then we can throw a hug A.FF party *hugs and kisses*

Rodney Atkins - If You're Going Through Hell Lyrics

Well you know those times
When you feel like there's a sign there on your back
Say's I don't mind if ya kick me
Seems like everybody has
Things go from bad to worse
You'd think they can't get worse than that
And then they do

You still walk the straight and narrow
And you don't know where you are
Use the needle of your compass
To sew up your broken heart
Ask directions from a genie
In a bottle of Jim Beam
And she lies to You
That's when you learn the truth

If you're going through hell
Keep on going, Don't slow down
If you're scared, don't show it
You might get out
Before the devil even knows you're there

Well I been deep down in that darkness
I been down to my last match
Felt a hundered different demons
Breathing fire down my back
And I knew that if I stumbled
I'd fall right into the trap that they were laying, Yeah

But the good news
Is there's angels everywhere out on the street
Holding out a hand to pull you back upon your feet
The one's that you been dragging for so long
You're on your knees
You might as well be free
Guess what I'm saying
If you're going through hell
Keep on going, Don't slow down
If you're scared, don't show it
You might get out
Before the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, If you're going through hell
Keep on moving, Face that fire
Walk right through it
You might get out
Before the devil even knows you're there

*hugs*
hope you've already replaced your job... but if not: good luck!!
i'm in a situation where going to work makes me ill... (at least one coworker is suffering the same anxieties), my hours have been cut from 40 to 24, and i feel i'm in a race on whether i'll get a new job and quit before they fire me. also trying to hang in till july 15th, after which i get 2 weeks paid vacation that they're legally obligated to give me. supposedly the boss doesn't want to lose me, but it's not showing very well. i did just find out i can claim partial unemployment. Also other hotels have been "borrowing" me in secret to help make up the difference, cuz they think my boss is being ridiculous and unfair.

one coworker thinks the #1 problem is our asst. mgr. is on a power-trip; the two of us who've been there longest and know the most (sometimes more than her) are the two who are constantly in trouble now, our hours cut, day off requests denied (when the newbie is given everything she wants), stuff like that. And the asst. mgr is a brown-noser of the worst sort, and has done/said things that nauseated us to observe, and wiped out any respect we may have had for her.

i've been talking too much about my issues though.

KMA5: lots of ppl are dismayed. But i am a "Music lover"... country, folk, 80's/90's rock, classical, middle eastern, celtic... just lately my normal stations have been playing dumb stuff.
