Common Courtesy

I was raised in a culture that valued courtesy. Consideration for other people shows that you respect tham as fellow human beings. Everyone has feelings; you're not the only one who matters.

The lack of courtesy in this world hurts me. The insensitivity that other people show toward me and others hurts. I am a real person. I have feelings. I matter.

I realize that women on this site, the ones that are not bots, get tons of e-mail. I realize they don't want to spend the time to respond to each one. But, you know, if I take the time to write, the very least common courtesy you can extend is a reply. Even if it's just "Fuck off", that's better than nothing at all. I would much rather be insulted up front, so I can move on, than relegated to the vast herd of non-people.

Yeah, I know it's useless to hope, but at least I got that off my chest.
