spell check

Okay, I'm not too proud to admit it... spell check is my friend. I have this huge vocabulary inside my brain... with absolutely no idea how to spell about 35% of it. I have a dictionary/thesaurus next to my computer that is my second one... wore out the first one. If I ever find out who 'invented' the backspace key... I"m going to marry them ( him/or her doesn't matter that is how deep my love is for the inventor of the backspace key is) So here is my question to you... first off, do you use spell check? ( here is a hint... maybe you should LOL ) If you do use spell check regularly then let me ask you this... have you ever typed in a word that even spell check couldn't help you with?? I mean have you typed in the word how you think it sounds and spell check is like..nope got nothing? It happened this am to me... i'm blaming no coffee, that's my story and I'm sticking to you... and for all of you out there that are thinking.. she uses spell check? (then why are so many of her words misspelled? ) okay so sometimes I forget... happy? Everyone... have a great day. (four words changed in spell check today..guess which ones )

HUKED ON FONIKS WURKED FUR ME!

I don't spell check. As a former spelling bee champion, I try to see if I can still spell worth a shit by not using spell check. I love watching the National Spelling Bee, only to see if I can actually spell long, rare words that we never use in everyday life. (Pococurante, anyone?) Occasionally, I even spell one right on occasion.

And I have a confession to make: I invented spellcheck. So should I start planning a nice, Vegas style wedding?

Not only did I invent the spellcheck, I also invented the backspace key. I'm a regular Thomas Edison!

I use it most of the time. There are times I think every word is spelled correctly and don't think I have to use it, but often wished I did after I click and proof read it too late. Most times I proof read before I click, sometimes when chatting I'll mess up and send to soon and wish I could have it back. I tend to make most of my mistakes when chatting.

Sometimes you spell a word correctly, but it's not the proper word for the sentence. That has happen to me and spell checker can't correct those mistakes.

I spellcheck my posts, but can never be bothered when I comment. I generally spell OK but I can't type for shit, so if I go back and read my comments, I'm usually appalled at the basic mistakes that make me appear to have the IQ of a potato.

For the record, my IQ is equal to that of a large turnip!

I tend to find myself thinking way ahead of my typing. Sometimes that makes for some interesting nonsense, so I always run spell check, but that doesn't work when the incorrectly used, but properly spelled word is inserted.

Eye two most bat use might since went eye amp sailing!!!

I never use spell check, although I should. I used it once and lost the whole post. I just never tried it again. I'm a slow typer and can't afford to re-type anything twice.
Vocabulary, absolutely, thesaurus, and misspelled.

my nonsensical short posts i just usually copy and hit spell check. on my longer 'actual' posts ( LOL ) i usually use word and then cut and paste. Although spell check in word has 'issues' with the word BLOG..( i should say words) blogger, blogging... it does not have issues with LOL however.. go figure

Most of the time I know if I've mangled a word; then I'll check it.. most of the time I don't... my biggest problem is the words that I know how to spell but my fingers insist on messing up..... I don't always catch those.. but then there are only of couple of words like that--one of them is "becuase".

_____I use "Spell Check" every time that I remember to. If it doesn't have "the word", I open another window and Google Webster's.
