Overpriced braziers

Now, I live with two girls, so there are certain magazines/catalogues that get delivered. One of my roommates insisted that I look at a certain bra that is advertised in the most recent Victoria's Secret catalog. This bra has over 2900 diamonds and (a paltry) 22 ruby gemstones, and costs $12.5 MILLION.

Good god.

This is just wrong in so many ways.

1.) This catalog was addressed to my roommate who graduated in May. She's a teacher. She has no money. My other roommate is still a student. She has no money either. I graduated in 2004, and I also have no money. If all 3 of us pooled what little we had, we could probably afford .01% of this.

2.) This has got to be insanely uncomfortable. There are about 3.2x10^8 different breast sizes, and there is now way this thing can be very adjustable.

3.) I'm sure the one shown is the only one that has been made, and what woman wants preworn "underwear?" Or do women not think of that since you have to go try on bras anyway and every bra you own has technically been on someone else already?

4.) The only reason "lingerie" such as this is purchased is because you want to be seen in it. But something of this magnitude isn't something you reserve for being seen behind closed doors but a select individual(s). This is the sort of thing that if you bought, you would want EVERYONE to see. This is like a red carpet style bra, but unless your name is Lil' Kim, what celebrity would where this on the red carpet? Did I just answer my own question with that question? I'm really not sure that Lil' Kim makes the yep of money to afford something like that. I think stuff like this is usually only available to a JLo. or Brittany Spears. I'm sure there has to be a celebrity crazy enough to wear this on the red carpet, but none with a sufficient amount of cash is coming to my mind. Maybe I need to watch more Fabulous Life Of.. on VH1 to keep myself update on worthless information like this.

The one picture I found is actually only $11 million.

1. Women always need to have goals right ?
2. Uncomfortable ? Please half the stuff women wear is uncomfortable , do you really think heels are comfortable , or bras , or pantyhose
3. Preworn , half the women in america wear a dress once(with the tag tucked in ) and return it . I am thinking we wear a lot of preworn stuff
4. So true
