DEAL OF THE DAY

I was out garage salin all day today and other than clothes for mini-me. Which was $40, so those of you who know bout garage sale deals that takes a lot at 25-75 cents apiece, maybe up to 2 bucks. but any way I have been looking for one for bout 5 yrs, today was the day. The exact thing I was looking for. I don't burn wood for heat, other than in my garage/shop so I didn't need a big saw but I did want a Stihl. and at 1/4 the cost of new. Plus it starts on the first pull, so far every time. And even though I had to spend the day w/ the ex, which went ok till 'bout the last hour, I got to spend the day w/ Dexter!!!!! I got lots of new pics. Some so wonderful, I can't wait to show them to my friends.

ROCK EM', SOCK EM', KICK EM', TILL YA LICK EM'

You would love it here in October. Our town has a town wide yard sale for one weekend. All you do is drive all over town to different yard sales.

Way back when I was 19, I worked for the Forest Service in Superior National Forest, Isabella district, Minnesota. I was on a TSI (timber stand improvement) crew. I was participating in a work-study program for Vermilion Community College in Ely, Minnesota. Our primary tool was a chainsaw. Since I was the youngest on the crew, I had to lug a Stihl chainsaw. Most of the rest of the crew used Echo's (if memory serves correctly). The Stihl had a larger gas tank, so I had to work longer with less refueling. Still, I liked it better since I was able to tear it down, clean it, sharpen it, then rebuild it.

I LOVE garage saling too. We didn't have many this week end due to the rain. Join your local Freecycle TM group. It's like garage saling for free.

You should have held out for a Husqvarna (I have no idea what I am talking about)

Well, as long as you are not planning in starring in Saw 3 : Cru's Revenge, I guess its all good.

This one was sponsored by a town nearby. And next weekend is the 85 mile garage sale, EVERY town around Lake Pepin is having as many garage sales as possible. It takes 85 miles to drive around the lake.

I have been raised on STIHL they are abit heavier than the ECHO but the ECHO does not run as well, and there is more vibration to the ECHO. The STIHL is about the Caddilac of saws. That experience you had sounds like fun, I love doing work like that.

Huskys are too dang big for what I need and I never liked the way they ran, work on em all week in order to cut on the weekend. way too much work for a lazy person like me. My STIHL starts first pull every time that's my kinda deal

I was thinkin the Pepin chainsaw massacre is always a possibility now

ROTFLMAO you come up with the best stuff

I've only used one husky, but comparable model to the Stihl just seemed too heavy and awkward. I liked the power it had but still I prefer my stihl's
