Flossing and longer life...

So yesterday I got the opportunity to go spend some time with my dentist. Nothing major, just a checkup and cleaning. But while I'm there I got a tidbit of information that I found helpful. My dentist said that only 2% of people floss their teeth regularly, but those that do tend to live on average, 8 years longer than those who don't. I found that hard to believe, but she said that when you don't floss, you end up getting bacteria in between your teeth that can effect your gums and eventually enter your bloodstream causing heart disease and other nasty things. So I decided yesterday, that I'm joining the 2 percentile, cause think about how much more sex you could have if you had an extra 8 years tacked on!
