Weekly retreat

Hmmm I'm not sure what to leave here tonight... so I guess since I'll say that another one of those things that I hold close to me is my friends.

And that means even if they do something stupid and get in trouble I'll make sure they survive ...if for no other reason than so I can give them an ear full about me having to not be lazy and actually get involved in a conflict caused because they were looking for fun

actually maybe that's a reason why the parties I'm at never get really wild ...generally fight free, clothes on ...some puking because of over drinking but nothing all that interesting...

I guess I'll leave off then with just saying that even though I usually take a day completely to myself ..my friends always come first ..I may not agree or go along, but I'll definitely at least listen ... maybe that's not a lot to some people, but I think it is.....

Agreed! You're losing it bud, I've just replied to the same post twice. Did you go off to the 'Neverland' of thought or just want to express how important this is to you?

Hugs, Roz

I am Roz , a rose that's ephemeral and rare. Yet always here! Hugz!

na that was a technical glitch ..I deleted one identical copy of this post before I looged out ...apparently it decided to come back - or send a friend

Listening, being able to listen {especially to comprehend even if not to agree for that part is not necessary} is one of the greatest 'gifts' someone has, especially when used in interaction.

...yup and it's a great way to get someone to shut up too I find it funny that when there's someone to really listen to what they're saying most chatterboxes just fall silent - unless it's something they think is truly important..
