Tweaking reality one mind at a time

Since I read a few blogs asking people what they would wish for given one wish and another asking how for how they would change the world... I think I'll combine the ideas here...

And say .. I dunno - the world seems like a pretty good place to me right now ...sure there are wars and, global warming and all the other maladies that plague humanity at the moment .... but at this point I'd say it's a matter of faith.

Not in religion but in reality and humanity ..then again maybe it's because all the people I've ever met, I have yet to meet any that truly enjoy hurting or harming the people they care about...

Which leads me to think that perhaps people need to be made aware that everyone truly is human ..that person that just insulted you, or the one that hit a child ..they are human just like everyone else.

But the thought comes to mind that perhaps it's these injustices that create those that understand what is going on ... the 'victims' learn and have their ignorance/naivete removed gaining the insight to change the world..

This obviously raises the question what happens if these injustices are removed? Will humanity stop learning and growing? ...and perhaps stop becoming more humane....

Just some thoughts....

The injustices in this life will never be removed, but some of us do believe that crossing our arms and just saying it's the reality of becoming more humane, the price we pay for a developing civilization, is a cop out big time. I believe that I can't save the world, but I need to at least try to alleviate some of the suffering in it.
Civilizations come and go, history has proven that....yet are we now more humane for their injustices?
Humans that cause to suffer other humans, are non-the-less part of the one denies this...
But, what part do you want to belong to? The Evil Or The Good?

where am I indeed? at the moment I'm not so sure that I'm not supposed to the(a) referee that points out the faults ... as for past injustices of past civilizations serve to teach the current society what not to do ... and perhaps would be more helpful if learned by a broader part of the population, since there are many (especially in the US) that are unaware of the injustices that their own ancestors faced, and how quickly the tides can be turned on one part of the population.

So perhaps I am of The Good, or perhaps of The Evil ..or perhaps both as believing in a balance between the two.

There will always be 'mean' people doing 'mean' things...and there are naturally things that each of us can do in our 'small' ways that help or add to the condition{s}.

Having been physically and mentally abused as a child by my 'egg donor', sexually abused by one of her husbands {step-f***er}, her son trying to do that to me as well {yes, 'full' one; we had same father and mother}, and then physically and mentally abused in my first marriage...BUT being as strong as I have been for so many years {by 4 or at the latest by 7 years old}...I would still have to say that I do believe that sympathy is within all humans but empathy...we usually learn it the 'hard' way.

What goes around comes around is easy to say...but in my opinion sometimes it needs a little 'help'; there will always be those less strong than we are, yet at the same time no one person is ever strong enough to change it all by themself -- although there is usually SOMEthing that we can do, which will at least make some sort of difference. Basically, I guess I am trying to say that the meek will inherit the earth...but I'm part of the group that is making sure what they inherit isn't a cesspool.

How are you enjoying your gaming time, btw? Oh, I 'fixed' a song for you, based on I want to be your teddy bear {into something like she wants you to be her cubby bear} on my blog {title something like Baroness' BallRoom Encore}. I know...sometimes I am so 're-re'!

but then the question is is that 'help' truly helpful or is a counter...

Personally I believe in live and let live, but raise a hand in violence and deny then perhaps they should die ...perhaps an eye for an eye and if the world ends up blind then so much the harder to commit acts of violence yes I agree that the death penalty should be in place and used ...

For me the question/task is to make sure it is helpful versus counter.

I, too, believe in live and let live...until the other person commits acts of violence on someone {meeker or not}. As they say in Texas...come to Texas and kill someone...and we will kill you back! {Other states are getting rid of the death penalty, etcetera...while Texas has put in an 'express lane'...if 3 credible witnesses saw you do what you said you didn't do...go straight to the front of the line, no sitting in a cell all those long years}.

that's about how it should be ... I think it's actually nicer than letting them realize what they did wrong ...or making them see it -which can be just plain cruel .... not to mention having to reeducate them after their mind has been broken down to that of child... nope killing them just seems more efficient...
