No Road Map in Blogland

MOOD: Devilish

I just dropped a welcome note to a newbie. I relocated to Blogland about a month ago and I remember what it's like to be in a new place and not know anyone.

I wrote her that there were no road maps and started to use the analogy... "It's like getting into your car and heading cross country, with no destination in mind. You'll make all kinds of unexpected discoveries along the way!"

SSCCRREEEECCHH of brakes

IF in ONE day you drop in on:

[blog AtomicArtist] for a "Pillsbury Doughboy" (his words, not mine) with attitude, THEN

[blog goddess1946] for charm, wit and your astrology forecast, THEN head over to

keithcancookfor mind-bending plays and stories, along with political poetry, THEN

travelingintexas for "word enemas" (his choice of words, not mine), then STOP BY

norprin5 for moody, imaginative poetry, THEN DON"T MISS

oldude1946 for the fascinating collection of photos BEFORE HEADING OVER TO

[blog saintlianna] for no-holds-barred wit, coupled with compassion. AFTER A QUICK LUNCH, TAKE A RIDE OVER TO

[blog freelove999] for passionate insights into anything and everything THEN ON TO

kyplowboy22 for just plain good writing, THEN maybe finish the day with

[blog valleyrat4] for an occasional erotic adventure that gives us ALL hope

SO many moods, SO many perspectives....

NOW, IF YOU ARE STILL STANDING, you will understand why an analogy to an ACID TRIPworks better than that analogy to an idyllic car ride

Clever

Aw thank you, although I would call me more of a half-wit myself.

This reminds me of about 2 1/2 or 3 lifetimes back when someone would ask me if I had ever tripped. To which I would reply, "I've been to all thirteen planets." Invariably someone would point out that there are not thirteen planets. To which I would reply, "Oh, and how many have you been to?" (Damn. I was seriously full of shit in those days.)

Expect to find more than thirteen planets!

Peace. Have a nice trip?

    Quoting rm_valleyrat4:
    Why thanks....

Very occasional though. Mostly it's mindless dribble only occasionally delving into the erotic.
Right For a shy, quiet, mellow guy Valley, it appears that you get well-laid more often than JFK did
