Music - Do you?

Ok, so I have been very negligent lately with keeping up on my blog and for that, I am sorry. Just have not had much to say lately.

Music...

I love it.

I need it.

I prefer it over television most days...

So of course, my preference is music on during those more intimate moments.

So now the question is back to you...

Do you? Sort of like a lights on, lights off thing. Do you like music in the background or not?

If so, what kind? Soft and sensual? Hard and raunchy? Is it mood dependent?

Chuchotte,

I listen to music every hour that I'm home, either as background or up front. My choice of what I listen to can be somewhat mood dependent, but mostly is a mixture of all those you listed. As for the television, the only time its on is in the morning so I can catch the weather before I start the day. I'm a consultant in computer operating system design and I do a lot of work from home, and find it much easier to concentrate when I’ve got the music turned up just above background level. I’d say that if some of the companies I do work for knew that they were paying me to listen to music they might just be a little upset , but fortunately they do like the work that I do for them so alls well

Hugs,
Jackie

chuchotte2,

Welcome back to the wonderful world of blogging. Your scintillating threads have been missed. I couldn't help respond to a post that has "I love it...I need it". Makes me imagine what else besides music would inspire such a response.

Getting back to your question, I don't listen to as much music as I would like. At work, I'm at my desk but usually get up frequently to tour the floor so only so far my earplugs could travel with me.

During intimate moments, I like quiet background music. Add candlelight in the dark and you've got the makings of a very sensual, erotic experience.

Now if I'm looking for good hard time, I might be open to raunchier music with a strong beat. But I'd still prefer hearing the sound of a woman enjoying sweet extasy anyday - now THAT'S music to my ears.

I love music, and listen to it constantly. The television comes on for my movie collection (comedies, Clint, John, and action) or for sports & the History Channel.

Music is also a mood dependent item. Mozart if I feel like being mentally intense or calm, heavy metal if I want to be highly intense, or mentally focused.

But I love it all. Even a little Frank in the evening.

Have fun, and enjoy.

Chuchotte,

ROFLAO - I definitely must remember that for the next time I forget to turn down the music when a company vp calls and asks whats with the music

You can be sure I’ll be back and I will go back and read all you blog entries, maybe see if this kitten can stir up a little mischief .

Hugs,
Jackie

Not too many things I love more than music, but sex is one of them. I prefer to listen to my lover, but on the occasions I'm inclined to put something in the CD player, it's gonna be Portishead, Enigma, Sinead, Iggy, or possibly The Art of Noise.

... or The Velvet Underground.

(Damn it Voodoo! How could you forget the Velvets for the sex-sex music?!?)

Yes music(Barry White), candles and massage oil. Then "whipped" cream for dessert.
