Ironic Use on Values

Desperation turns one into a survivor
Materialisation changes one to slave of desire.

Human devalue themelves when they're put up for amuse
In return for values they'll use.

I came across Huntress7878 and sharksnsailss' [blog huntress7878].
Makes me wonder about selling oneself for something in return.

Hi Huntress and Sharks, welcome. Your interesting views inspire me and many others. It is breathe taking to see from the other side of things.

I sold a piece of myself for a key to a bus,
then called some friends to come along,
and found the bus could take all of us,
(another brought food, another brought gas)
so off we went and sang our happy song.
and the exchange was a fair enough use of time and flesh.

So she sells her pain to a passer by,
who takes it and laughs (for so few coins he gave)
and she bought her child and her both a morsel for the day.
and in the childs smiling eyes.
she had given nothing away.
and it would all be OK.

i try to take a fair shot at an idea here, oh well they can't all be gems, thanks for your comment though i liked it...

I like to think of it
in terms of
"an exchange of need" ...

Thank you for this, precious ...
