F(r)iction : 9 : Push

Maggie heard about the Tsunami on the Foreign News Network.
Ethan had told her about his assignment to East Timor several months ago.

She was so relieved when she called him and found that he was posted
back to Singapore before Tragedy struck.

Her concerns, only spurred him on to wait. For him to move on, she must help him let go. She realised no matter how minute her presence was in his life, she had tied him down with a glimmer of hope.

Goodbye is forever this time, Ethan, she whispered on the phone.
No, don't do this, he said. Sorrow had engulfed both the executioner and the executed.

Before she hang up, she said:-

In time every bits of sorrow will heal.
Our misses is nothing compare to tragedy in this world.

A push in begining would save on time
For the executioner and the executionee
Would not have dine and wine

Exchange of souls
Had only mated sorrows
Offsprings of missed devines.

Bitter sweet symphonies
Orchestrate life's each masterpiece
Where our secret memories hang on gallow trees.

I am hoping that Maggie does not give up on Ethan and the marriage...

Unless, whats happening now is 'gone is love'..
I think out of the millions and millions people out there on the street, surround us everyday, for 2 people to meet, fall in love and finally get married- that is the luckiest thing that could happen to anyone.

Sometimes we need to be cruel to our loved ones in order to be kind.
