No Porn in Nevada?

I just read this today...

"Nevada state employees who view pornography on the job face immediate dismissal under newly approved personnel regulations.

The new rules, approved unanimously earlier this month by the state Personnel Commission, also make having sex on the job -- even when it is consensual -- and sexual harassment grounds for immediate firing."

Seriously in Nevada? Land of "What happens in Vegas - stays in Vegas" the land of LEGAL prostitution.. now suddenly makes porn and sex at work illegal.

My first resposnse, admitingly, was at what point could you really have sex in your office, be caught and still expect everything to be peachy keen?

And I am guilty of the occasional AdultFriendFinder glance here or there (ok way to many hours looking around) but I basically expect there to be some kind of punishment if my boss finds me staring at my favorite picture of this hot female on all fours in her white nighty. umm where was I...

Right Navada... so how exactly did this report become news anyway. Exactly at what point did our nevadian politicians stop and think -- you know there is not a law against porn at work..lets write one.

I for one, am going to laugh my ass off when the first person caught having sex in thier office is some politician who figured the law didn't mean to include him and his secretary.

funny...true. when it comes to nevada. everywhere else? grounds for immediate dismissal. they're probably just trying to get in line with the rest of the country when it comes to sex and the workplace. also, it actually helps to have clear boundaries on what is acceptable and what isn't.

but as with everything else, those with the money and the power have a better chance of not being reprimanded, much less dismissed. personally, i like to keep my sex outside of work. i don't believe in the "collision of worlds."
