you know, i have several blogs that i "watch," and i always look forward to new posts. sometimes, these blogville friends of mine seem to be able to read my mind, and say what i'm thinking. at other times, the blogs are thoughtful, and make me think outside my own comfort zone. sometimes, the posts are just too funny, and i smile as i'm reading.
if you're lucky like me, they make you think, laugh, and most of the time, they make me want to meet the person in person!
what do others' blogs do for you? how do they make you feel? do you feel like you already know the person, in the best possible way?

ps - the only disappointing thing about posting to my blog is that i hope that certain of my blogville friends will comment each time, and when they don't - and/or they don't post to their own blogs very often - i'm disappointed and frustrated . . . i want to know more and more about them! oh, well, this really is a minor complaint, given how much i enjoy blogville in general

pps - what, if anything, disappoints you about our little world of blogville?

I never really feel like i know the people, but I feel like I have an inside, secret window into their lives. I love the confessional aspects of blogging. I love learning new things about different places or lifestyles. I love the thoughtful blogs that inform and educate. I love watching how people come to the decisions they do. I love knowing things nobody else knows, and I love feeling like I have a finger on the underground pulse of America.

If all the politicians would read the AdultFriendFinder blogs, they'd be WAAAAY ahead of the game!!!

I learn, I laugh, I think, I feel...and i suppose a person's blog does open a window to their soul, especially over time.

    Quoting Frnds4Play:
I laugh or I cry, I learn and I think and I feel. I know some (very few) that I feel very close to. Some like a brother or sister others like a friend.

There are of course others that I feel nothing for. What I choose to read is information blogs about the person or to read their poems and stories. What I stay away from for the most part are the pure sex blogs. You know, Im sure what I mean. The I need to get layed blogs. Kat
isn't it curious - in the best meaning of the word - that so few of the blogs are about sex? really, there has to be a collection of short stories here, don't you think?

Hi Cat! I know what you mean about watching blogs, a comment someone makes somewhere leads me back to their blog and there I am adding another to the page plus of watched blogs I've already got going on. Thank goodness not everyone writes each day and not tooooo many write 3 or 4 or more times. Hard to keep up, and as the many caring people here take the trouble to comment on something in mine the more I am feeling compelled to respond to those comments. They make me think, or show me something of myself or something precious in them.... it is so easy to see their hearts sometimes.
