The ultimate wedding..

My local radio station is giving away a free wedding at Wal-Mart. Yes, Ladies and Gentleman, you can be married in the Lawn and Garden section, enjoy a free, catered meal from the deli, beer from the alcohol section and for those natural procrastinators, there is the housewares section, making gift giving an easy task.

Wait, there's more..if your date gets nervous and starts to sweat, there's the deodorant aisle, for those that feel a bit horny, there's the condoms in Health and Beauty and should her father find out she's pregnant, there's the shotguns in Sporting Goods! Imagine getting married at the place you met your future wife/husband!

Who doesn't love a good Wal-Mart wedding??! They freakin have everything!

You might be a redneck.....

That's just a springer episode away from a group therapy session.

Oh you forgot the video cameras putting it all on the in store monitors, while recording the whole thing. "Attention Wal-mart shoppers the reception will be held in the parking lot just outside of the Lawn and Garden center. For those PETA members we wil be throwing grass seed instead of rice" " Thank you for shopping and wedding at Wal-mart!" Only in Lewis County... Chief

Dash..I wish I was kidding. Unfortunately, it is true. I was a city girl for 28 years of my life, living in California. I decided to move to TN about 3 years ago and things are VERY different here!
This is the second or third year of this contest and wouldn't you know it, they have several entries. I know Wally World has everything but this is just too damn much! lol

Tires, sometimes I feel like I am only an episode away from that same therapy session living here in the South!

2/3/2006 9:17 pm are too funny! Actually, it is going to be in Williamson. The radio station is actually a Nashville station; however, I wouldn't be surprised if Lewis has one after Super Wal-Mart opens. By the way, it's nice to blog with a fellow Tennessean, especially one from the next county over.
