Today just plain sucked...

My day started off with my eldest daughter stealing from my wallet. I took her out of school to have a talk with a probation officer to try and scare her. Instead, I think she scared the officer. She goes above and beyond to lie to people to get sympathy, but she won't lift a finger to help around the house or do homework for school. Sound familiar?

Watching my baby daughter is tiring... She will be 3 soon and I think she's bi-poloar (manic-depressive). She's always either crying uncontrollably or so happy I can't get her to be quiet or calm down. The only way I can get her to sleep for a nap is to drive for a long distance. I have to get her back into day care--I can't handle being a stay-at-home dad.

Today sucked so bad I didn't even have time to think about sex (or lack of it). Time for bed now.

Dear bkfld_whiteboy;
By all means-look for daycare. Better yet, try a Parent-Co-opertive, where you can get advise and feed back from other Parents and Professionals. Do not try to decide what is wrong with your children on your own, since your emotional ties can distort your view.
My own child presented a greater challange for me then the many children I cared for, working in a Pre-school for 26 years and having an A.A. Degree in Child Development. If the above advise doesn't help-try Dr. Phil. In fact, try watching the show and you just might see similar behavior problems and get ideas for solutions. And take care of your needs! Your children need a happy Dad, not burned out Dad!
