Conversations with Chelle

A few nights ago, I contacted MamChelle at her sister's house (MamCsDawne) and had a LONG (2+ hours! Long distance, too!) chat, talking about life, love, sex, and other stuff.

At one point, she inquired that I should pay a visit to her place.

Despite the fact that she lives 7 hours away, I'm seriously considering it. I'd have to see if Greyhound heads up that way and stuff, but if it does... well, that would be an interesting blog now, wouldn't it?

But for now, I'm just trying to get a good night's sleep. I've struggled with that the past few nights, and even called in "sick" from work yesterday so I could take a nap. Also last night, Angie came over and we had a little fun in between watching the National Spelling Bee, won by Katherine Chase from New Jersey. I was rooting for Finola, the cute Canadian, to take it. As a former spelling bee champ, I have a vested interest in the Bee, even though I would have never made it that far. Angie's actually a really good speller, with her background in Latin, and spelt some several complex words correctly. I managed to spell a couple of words right. One of those words knocked out the tall Indian guy I jokingly called "The Hitman" due to his size and his "I'm trying to be intimidating" glances at the ABC cameras. I believe he was the last male eliminated in the Bee.

Becky comes over tonight (with PIZZA!), so my Friday night is set.
