A Brutal Saturday

Usually, at the non-PRS job, Saturdays are supposed to be slow. Nice. Calm. Peaceful. Tranquil. Relaxing.

::imagining sounds of ocean waves, rain forests, rain drops::

Well, yesterday was not.

::needle scratches record::

Yesterday was brutal personified. To give you an idea: we had our first order of the day a minute after 11 AM. The order screen didn't finally totally clear until 2:45 PM. You never saw someone filter grease so fast the way I did yesterday. Very unusual for a Saturday.

At least I got a good night's sleep last night (a rarity with me as of late), and I'm off today. (But there is the Public Radio Station's Spanish-language radio show, so I'm figuring a lot of YouTube surfing tonight.)

And I have been talking with someone from this site... no details for you as of yet, but let's just say I'm really beginning to like where this is going...

Enjoy your Sunday. I would, but I've got laundry to do. Care to join me?

I'd love to join you for laundry, i've got tons of towels to do as my washer broke. I'll bring them over... now all we have to do is figure out what to do while we wait for the washer to stop... got any good ideas? Hmm?
