The Difference in Art Within Subway Stations

In Canada where I grew up there was always muscians that pan handled in subway stations. They would fill the small hallways with soft folk music, or classic sounds. In many ways it was very soothing and gave subway stations a charm.

Here in Korea I am not sure what is the norm. But I found a subway stop very charming because of the art work that they put up against the walls. The artwork is in the form of caligraphy in the old style, and that of imagined landscapes.

I guess I am charmed by artists in Canada and here. And feel like home in both places.
