So this is home.

This is my third day here in Korea and I am settling really well. I am amazed by how much it feels like home so quickly.

For those who don't know I have lived in this country for 2 years prior. My friends still are here and I have slowly begun the process to talk with them and I am reminded of good times. The language is slowly coming fresher into my mind, but I need a lot of practice and help to begin speaking with any sense of clarity. In reference for those interested my Korean is on par with a 2 year old born in Korea. If not worse.

I am still trying to figure out my job requirements. Right now I am wearing the title of Canadian Director. Which means that I will be brought in on some decisions involving the joint venture to make money as Koreans are being taught english. But I am maybe too skeptical to believe this to be the case and that this title is just that a title.

I am looking forward to teaching again. I am actually beginning to feel the butterflies of my first day tomorrow. I hope the kids will teach me what their expectations are and I will be able to respond to each of them appropriately. Yeah, at the opportunity to be a teacher.

I am living in a small flat with a co-worker. So far things have been good. I hope that I don't drive him insane with my idiosyncrasies. This is the first time I have had a room mate. I must admit it is a nice change from being on my own or with family. The flat itself is nice. It is a three room apartment with a living room, laundry room, and kitchen. The neighbor hood is quiet and actually in a nice area. I feel blessed for being able to be here.

I guess that is my update. I am not sure what type of photos you would like to see? But if I find something of unnatural beauty or something wonderful I will definitely take a photo.

I wish you all well, and thank you for taking time to check up on me. You are all such encouragement.

You are going to do wonderfully. As always you are skeptical of you own worth, but I know you will flourish quickly. I already miss you and am glad to see that you are able to keep in touch while you are there.

The children will adore you, they always do. You will delight and amaze them, you do me. Before you know it, you will be saying goodbye to S. Korea and flying back to Canada, wondering where the time went.

Meanwhile, be nice to your flatmate. Try not to be to "cautious". Be funny... laugh a bit, don't be so serious all the time! *sticks tongue out at you* But most of all enjoy your friends and your time there.
