sunrise in the desert

strange things happen in the desert. I dont know if its from the high uv rays poaching your brain or the ghosts of the old west whispering in your ears, but clarity and evolution of your life descends upon you like a waking dream.

Processing old memories, piecing pieces of the puzzle together for a totally diffrent answer. Hoping for one more day to tell someone that woke up too late that you love him.

Another moving on from a painful life onto a more promising one.....and the pain of letting the tormentors go because of being born with such a kind heart.

The sand swirls around me, the monsoon approaches, lightening storms and red clouds loom, hot rain falls.

the sun rises .....

Fascinating. Truly, Fascinating. I may have to compose a Letter to You, schönes Fraulein. Methinks the Desert has brought forth in You much to contemplate.

i haven't been in the desert for a while. the best was when we went to namibia (my first daughter was conceived there) ... it was so vast and empty ... but the desert was different in different places, the colour of the dunes changed and the mood changed ... but the emptiness was mind-blowing!

What an interesting observation, I love the "reality" of the desert. It doesn't try to hind anything. You have to provide your own survival because it offers nothing, you know exactly what you're getting.

I rented this movie this week. Two thumbs up.

I'd love to wander the desert with you sometime Bunn. I'll bring the provisions and dry ice.

I simply have no idea what it is to shed this skin of pain., was taken without a sound. I have only encountered the after math and stood horrified at the path of destruction that was left behind. It makes me pause each time it happens. It makes me pause each time I run into some one I was "close" with just a few years ago and have no idea who they are as that void moves foward still chewing up what I thought I would get to keep and I am destroyed.

And yet the sun rises each day with out any mistakes...

Those moments of clearity I wish were more often even though I also see just how much of a mess I have made of things from the last moment....

You have given me so much and I only wish that I can repay you in kind some day

peace be with thee Me Lady
