Hitting a milestone

Today I did my max endurance swim. Things went really well, and in the end, I swam 1000 meters, 400 more than I've ever done before. So I felt really good about the whole thing, especially that at the beginning of August, my goal was to swim 500 meters at the end of the month.

Unfortunately, by swimming as much as I did, that just means my trainer will start bumping up the length of my sessions again. She's doing that already with my Monday and Wednesday sessions. While this week was focused on anaerobic running - short duration, high intensity - along with balance and weights, next week switches back to aerobic - long duration, low intesity. So, I'm running a 5K on Monday and Wednesday after doing about 20 minutes of biking on a machine.

On a separate topic, going shopping tomorrow to buy my wetsuit and tri-shorts. Going down into LA to two tri-shops; I just hope they have something in my size.
