You don't care!

I can hear the child screaming out: "you don't care, you don't even like me!"

What's that about? The baby learns that care meaning getting what it wants - else it dies and so parents teach baby that caring is about getting what is desired. Hence spoiled brats - not to mention adults.

The lesson to learn that to care is to not give in to every baby like demand is unpleasant and yet the youngster has another ability; to be accepting. To the child everything just is. Rocks are hard, water is wet and everything is as it is. Move on. These are our fertile fields for child rearing.

Grown ups. A whole other game. Learned ways are habits and habits can be hard to break - ever stopped smoking? Ouch!

If LOVE means to do the bidding of another, then is that love? Is it to show love? Nah, not that either. Is it to engage in acts of love? Oh yes. (Physical or otherwise).

Anyone who thinks they carry the responsibility for how another feels? Think again. You just think you do. Each of us is responsible for how we feel (How?!) . Me for me, you for you. In between we meet, with acts of love, giving and receiving.

Pain.. that's another thing. At a certain level, you can only hurt me if you have my permission.

I do not give that permission and neither should you. "Should" is a whole other blog.
