Last night at midnight I was outside with my grandson and a flashlight playing in the snow. His joy was enough to make me feel like a child again too...although snow has that effect on me.

Now I know some of you who live in areas that snow is a way of life throughout the winter must think I am nuts. But it doesn't snow much here in Virginia Beach....and even an inch is enough to close the schools down here because we have no equipment to remove it from the roads. I grew up in Ohio, so I know what a "real" winter is like....but Friday it was 70 here, and today we have snow!!! What fun! It won't last....probably will be gone before the day is over. But it is such fun to see the pure joy in a childs face while he catches those snowflakes on his tongue!

Oh! And the reason for the picture???? Well, I am still on the no sex orders from the doctor......sorry...even snow made me think of sex!

Fly...believe me I'm counting! And as for being a great grandma....I have a wonderful example in my grandma who is 94, and just quit her bowling league last year! I wouldn't have missed the look on my grandsons face, or his joyous squeals for any amount of warmth...although the warm bed felt pretty good when we came back in. Love ya!

Did your innocent little grandson throw any snowballs at his loving Nannie?

Who is the guy with the corn-cob pipe? I want to speak with him in private.

Last evening we celebrated a friend's 60th birthday by tromping out into the snow and lighting up a couple dozen sparklers. Even us snow bound folks enjoy the outdoors.

I love the picture.....and lest I forget.....forgive me for being early.....

Polly...oh my goodness! I am wondering which of your personalities had that thought? No demonstration....just couldn't completely get my mind out of the gutter.

Vatraveler.....yes, I was ambushed the next morning by my grandson who took great delight in throwing the snowballs that "someone" helped him to make. And the guy with the corn cob pipe? He is my secret lover. Strong, only smokes the pipe once in awhile (I don't like kissing ashtrays), and "melts" when I kiss him. LMAO!!

Redswallow...sparklers sound like a lot of fun in the snow! And thank you for the early Happy Birthday! You're very sweet.
