It's Going to be a Girl!

I don't know why....but I can't get to my blog tonight! I can "read" it....but I can't comment or respond to comments. But, it did allow me to post a blog here.....or so I think! lol

It's just after midnight....and I'm going to bed. Our granddaughter is going to be born in the morning by c-section. We have to get up early and be at the hospital early.

For me.....some of the excitement of this day is dampened by my husband's complete loss of joy in life. But I can't wait to touch that little new in this world.....with so much of life before her. To smell that wonderful baby smell....and to know that my own daughter has made it through the surgery well.

This baby coming just reminds me that life begins anew every day! And I am SO blessed to be alive and healthy to see this little girl come into this world!

I'll be back later in the day to let you all know the news!

I'm so glad you have this to look forward to when other things are so hard right now. My first grandchild is due in late January.

Hey Angel!
I was also at the hospital! I was the one pretending to read the newspaper, but was actually checking out your very short skirt through a hole punched in the middle of the paper. Saw something while looking in the classifieds and I thought, "I'm lookin' straight up Angel's alley!" Clipped it out later and posted it here for you. Keeping an eye out for you!

* * * * * WANT ADS * * * * *

New fledgling start-up seeking spoiling, doting grandmother-type person for constant love (you will be issued a pager) as well as occasional care, feeding, cuddling, advice and candy. Desired applicant will need to have a lifelong committment to this project. Some "waste management tasks" will be compulsory in the early stages, but will be phased out as potty management skill are acquired by the junior team member. The next phase will require good blood-sugar monitoring and management, because it'll be so sweet it could give you diabetes! About a dozen years into the project will be times when you will want to smack the ho-lee crap out of the project and give up. Don't. At this point you must offer sage advice. It will be ignored or at least the project will act like they are ignoring the wisdom of senior management, but when you aren't looking they will do what you said because you were right! Your first vacation will begin in 18 years when they go far and away to college. Just in case, keep a nice dress on hand in case the concept of marriage is still around a quarter of a century from now.

If interested, report to your daughter's local hospital. Request an application and completely fill out the third portion of it (the part labelled "C-Section")

the circle of life - smiles

take joy in your grandchild - lay her in your husband's arms and dare him not to see the miracle - hold them both - a new life entering this world - a man who sees no hope - put hope in his arms

much love to you

A new baby arriving is pretty exciting. I've held a few newborns and there is nothing like it in the world. I still remember the last time .... my nephew, who is now 12. He was a little heater. After a minute or two I was sweating, but man, it is amazing to see that new life!

(What the fuck is this shit..?? *rolls eyes*)

Congratulations to you on your new addition to your family.

The I too had the previledge of seeing my second Grandbaby being born on July 25-06.

I agree with you that a new life being brought in to this world is an unbelievably amazing miracle. I posted this just before my grandsons birth.
Love of a new life. Jul 17, 2006 6:09 am

When a new life decides to enter this world it is the most amazing thing to witness.
I will once again be witnessing the birth of my second granchild on Thursday July 21. This time it is a baby boy.
I cannot believe even though I dont feel older or look any older. I feel that the world looks at me as I must be old. Because I have 2 grandchildren.
But it is not something I worry about. I have too much joy in my heart to worry about what someone might think about my age.
I know that I will probably not be as active in AdultFriendFinder for a few weeks. But anyone that is waiting to meet for a drink, plz dont forget about me. I am still interested. And I am still looking forward to getting together with you.

Way to go dear, I am so happy for you and your daughter. A new little one is always a joy, just wait til you reach the point that I did almost 6 years ago in Sept......

Then I can say "Welcome to "greats club" dear.[Dont forget to check out your duties (especiall number 3) on page one in your grannies handbook. "It is your resposibility to spoil each and every grandchild as much and as often as you possibly can."
And my congrats to grampa too.

Congratulations Angel on your new baby Granddaughter![/size4]

I hope that your daughter is doing well after the c-section--I had two of them so I know what they are like. Make sure she gets the special attention and rest that she needs and very much deserves.

Makes sure Grandma Angel you get your rest at this time too, for I know that you are juggling a full plate. Give that sweet little baby a gentle hug for me while you are at it--then pop over to my blog and tell me how much I enjoyed it!

Hugs to you Angel at this most happy time!
