Book Recommendations

I just finished Jeffrey Eugenides "Middlesex" and am looking for some other good books to read, please let me know if you've read any good books lately.....

Some suggestions from me (books I've read and absolutely enjoyed immensely)...

Jeffrey Eugenides "Middlesex"
Michael Chabon "Wonder Boys"
Frank Herbert "Dune"
John Irving "The Hotel New Hampshire"
John Irving "The Cider House Rules"
John Irving "The World According to Garp"
Dalai Lama "Transforming the Mind: Teachings on Generating Compassion"
Gabriel Garcia Marquez "One Hundred Years of Solitude"
Miguel De Cervantes (Translated by Edith Grossman) "Don Quixote"
Tom Wolfe "The Bonfire of the Vanities"
John Berendt "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil"
Douglas R. Hofstadter "Godel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid"

Some of those books became movies, with the exception of Garp, I read them before the theater. The books are much better than any movie.

Love to hear your suggestions!

I can't believe no one has any book recommendations!?!? That television will turn your brains to mush!

Another suggestion from me....

The Complete Kama Sutra: The First Unabridged Modern Translation of the Classic Indian Text (translated by Alain Kanielou)
