Just cooling it and Loving It

I'm back for anyone who might be interested...

Got moved, got settled, got everyone of those #$%@^! boxes unpacked and thrown away! Lol!

ahh well moving wasn't really such a chore. I started about two weeks earlier and packed a ittle every free chance I got. So moving day came and it actually only took me 5 hours to empty the old place on the truck and transfer it inside to the new place.

Finally did get a dog too. I settled on rescueing a Bernese Mountain Dog. Thye look like a collie only they dont have the long nose. He is 6 years old, house broke and doesn't bark excessively,,thank goodness! He weighs about 55 lbs and is so friendly. I couldn't have picked a better dog.
any way his name is Lucky.

Didn't have much of an Easter, so went to my folks Friday and came back yesterday. It was a nice visit but I am glad to be home in my space. Got three tomato seedlings today and planted them out in the back.

Oh I am domesticated already; now i need to concentrate on finding some sort of mutual relationship. I am most happy when I can take care of someone.

So will blog more now.

I missed this alot and I missed my friends here. I put the bad event behind me and I am moving forward.

Today, I wish I just had someone to go walking with in Deer Park in Newport News. Its so peaceful and the azalea's are blooming.

I want to feel the warmth of his hand. the strength of his grip and the coarseness of his skin. Just to feel my tiny hand engulfed by his.

hey darlin',...if I may be so bold....any time you want go walking in Deer Park, or on the Nolan Trail in the Mariners Museum, just drop me a line... ...I'd be honored to walk with you, just as a friend, not sure I'm looking for anything more right now...

Happy to hear you're sort of settled. I wish I could reach my hand out to the park and share some sunshine with you.

Give Lucky a squeeze for me.

I totally agree. The moving isn't so bad, but the packing and unpacking seems endless. It always seems that something got packed that you suddenly need. My wife and I (she is now deceased - widower)were going to sell the house so we went through and packed several boxes, cleaned, the whole bit. I have long since decided to keep the house, so I'm still unpacking. Good luck on your move and finding what you are looking for. I had a border collie named Lucky. Great dog. Highly recommend.
