Most of you who read my blog on a regular basis have deduced that I am going to the Bloggers Meet in Atlanta this weekend. Because of my work schedule, I can't go until Saturday, well I guess I could drive over Friday night after work but I'd be dawg tired.

ANyway, I started not to go at all, but a couple of my friends here convinced me that it would be worth the risk to go. What am I risking? My ego mainly. I am a very shy person in person. It's easy to sit behind a computer, anonymously and type stuff, not so easy to talk to actual living, breathing people.

Many of the people that I will be meeting this weekend, I've never seen a picture of their face. We'll have nametags but I want to be able to match people up to who I think they are without them. (should I ask to see their weinie?)

Most people have no problem recognizing me by my eyes. I get compliments on them and on my hair, which is long and dark. On one of the other "dating" websites asked what's the first thing other people notice about you? Honestly, I am not sure. Eyes, hair, boobs and even my left hand.

Yeah that's right, I mean left. In the past 3 years, I've had broken bones in my wrist and my elbow two times. As a result it stays swollen a lot and isn't very pretty. I mention it because, people who notice it are people who get paid to notice such things... nurses,, doctors, EMT's etc. I am sure there will be someone other than myself at this thing who meet one of those descriptions.

So what's the first thing someone notices about you?

What's the first thing you look at when observing someone else?

My hair, my eyes, that I am short and somewhat shy myself. I notice how others smile, their eyes, their voices and if they are outgoing or a bit reserved.

I'm looking forward to meeting you this weekend.

The first thing people notice about me is that I'm fat.

The first thing that I notice about people is their 'presence'.

Notices about me? The blinding glare off the elevated hairline... Or is it the scintillating personality and scathing wit? I don't know, I never asked.

I look at eyes, their smile, their hair. And I try to gage their personality, too.

Have a great trip!

I've got $10 that says shy little Mac will be photographed dancing naked on some bar room table before the weekend is over!

(Hmmm, wonder what the first thing they'll notice will be then??? )

Ah, Its you again, Your Angel Feathers and your Blood Stains...

Probably my eyes, and I usually notice the same about others although I also sort of register their "presence" they carry themselves.

Really happy you're going!

I'm in for $10 more and a pitcher of margaritias on the table dance. Wondering if I should infiltrate the convention to help set the stage for the entertainment to take place????'ll get worldwide distribution rights. Based on recent infant pics rates, and the rates on pics of Lindsey Lohan alone, you should be set for retirement once the pics are published.

All should have fun and expect to have one coherent thought benefiting all bloggers to be aggreed upon. We anxiously await our decree.

As for answering the blog, I think that people notice that I am not inclined to make the first move. Which is interpreted incorrectly 67% of the time that I am not interested in them. The remaining 33% that initate contact to see if i'm interested tend to find out that what I'm interested in is not related to the topic of interest that brought everyone together in the first place. It's so rare to find people willing to subversively talk off topic with you.

So what's the first thing someone notices about you?

Probably the wrinkles for me.

What's the first thing you look at when observing someone else?

I hate to be shallow but with women it is boobs then hair then eyes.

the eyes and the smile. both on me - and what I first notice about others.

I so wish I were closer, I'd love to meet you and all the other Atlanta bloggers. Good grief, I've lurked on so many of their blogs for the past few months I feel like family - (a very odd family).

have a great time.

I am so glad you are going. I can be shy too, and that is definitely hard for a shy person. That is admirable! The first thing people notice is my smile, face, and legs.

Depends on if you post it here or not! After all, she is the one who says she can only ID the guys by the "pics of their weenies". I guess from the neck down would be fair and still protecet her anonimity.

What I meant by that comment was that some guys hwere, I've never seen a face shot of, I've only seen a picture of their penis. AND where is your picture, hot shot? Mr see my shadow boy. Plus, SD didn't get the pic, cause I wasn't on any tabletops. I'm afraid of heights. Who are you anyway? Mac
