New! Mac's Movie Review

Today I went to the matinee. We went to see Pixar's animation Cars.

We went to the 2:20 showing which is between nap times for little kids, so I figured there would be a whole bunch of them there, and there were. I expected them to misbehave, they didn't.... wanna know why?

Because, this movie was very entertaining and could hold even the shortest attention span. The characters were very endearing and if most adults are like me (the ones who weren't taking a small child with them to see it), I didn't do any research at all.

I sat there trying to figure out whose voice I was hearing, some I never could get. So we watched the credits just to see who did the voice overs for this animation.

The only time I heard a peep out of the crowd was when there was a scary combine looking machine that was noisy and some of the smaller children got scared. So if you have little ones who are frightened easily, may wanna skip this one.

As always there was a moral to the story. Yes there is a moral to every story, I can't help it if "someone" doesn't think so!

So what's the moral to this story? It's open to individual interpretation and if I tell you what it meant to me it might mess up the whole movie for you!

I think this is an excellent choice this weekend for the 5 asnd over crowd. I'm hoping all of you are in that crowd.

Watched Running Scared this evening, I think I liked Cars better

Are you here without a designated blogger? Then I guess you'll have to stay.

Looking forward to catching it...but gotta like Running Scared; anything based in Chicago works for me!
