Mac is rated XX

What makes a woman a woman? Breasts? A vagina? Hips? What makes someone a woman to you?

When I was born, I was a girl. I think my parents were shocked. I grew up as my father's son until my brother was old enough to usurp me. So for about 10 years I was the "boy."

I'm not very feminine acting. I am not frufru. I don't wear a lot of makeup. I don't even carry a purse. Am I still a woman?

Is it in the genes? Most people have a pair of chromosomes that determine their sex. Chromosome 23 usually has XY for males, XX for females. I said usually because there are a few variations but for the most part that's what you have.

If someone who is XX and by all physical means female has surgery to remove internal parts that label her female, is she still a woman?

So, a female with no ovaries, no fallopian tubes, sans uterus, she's still a woman?

Still a woman in my book. Just like a guy that's had gender reassignment surgery is still a guy and therefore should not be sending me winks.

Breasts do not a woman make. There are guys with large "Man Boobs".

That is a genius question. And one which many books are written about. Many of which I've read. And I have *NO* idea.

I like those kinds of questions.

I can’t tell you any single thing that I love about a woman, It is the perfect mix that makes me go weak-kneed. The sensuality combined with nurturing, the naughtiness combined with caring, the vivacity coupled with quiet understanding. It is a heady mix and is it ever intoxicating.

absolutelynormal replies on 5/18/2006 3:59 am:
OK, I can do all of that except I would NOT be described by anyone as vivacious

The wife says that the window dressing is still a woman , I say what does your heart tell you ??? Did you feel like a girl even though you were being a tomboy ??? did it make you less woman when you did "manly" things ??? IF you aren't a woman on the inside , and you haven't had male bits added then does that make you a non - gender specific being ??? Terribly androginous don't ya think , I say go with what you feel because honestly the only person you have to amswer to is the one you see in the mirror every morning.

If you remove the carburetor, spark plugs, and fan belt, is it still a car, or does it become a bicycle?

Yes, she is most definitely still a "woman." Womanhood is so much more than the sum of its parts.

This argument or debate or whatever always makes me think of transsexuals. What *does* make a woman a woman? What is there inside a man that makes him want to be a woman, to identify as a woman? Obviously gender identification has very little to do with the biological factors.

If you ever find the answer, I'd be interested to hear it Till then, I'll just stew in the dark with you.

Here's hopeing that you saw the follow up blog posting to this one, where I say that I'm not confused about my sexuality. I'm not transgendered in the least. Strictly, dickly But... if I find out the answer to the question, you'll be the first to know.

I've been called a tomboy, I probably am. I don't wear much make-up, or do my hair fancy, prefer wearing jeans to anything else. Yes, I'm a woman, what makes me so, who knows, I know, I don't want a penis, that's for sure!!

Buy, honey, we are NOT our uterus's!!!

I'd be thrilled to donate mine to someone who needs it more than me!!

I have picture of my sexual organs, tha's right, I have a pic of my uterus and ovaries. Why? I dunno, I had to have a pelvic laparoscopy because I had an adhesion from my rtovary to the greater omentum, the doc took pics and gave me some. My uterus looks like a whooppee cushion!!
