Summer Body Makeover

It's time. It's time to get in shape before summer comes and goes. A number of you decided that you were in. You want to attempt to gain that body that you've always dreamed about. I'm going to warn that this will take a lot of dedication, but it will be worth everything that you put in, of that, I can assure you.

There are too many benefits that outweigh the negatives:
1. Decrease weight
2. Lose unhealthy fat
3. Lower blood preasure
4. Lower deadly cholesteral
5. Gain strength
6. Decrease stress levels (if you don't overtrain)
7. Increase testosterone levels (guys)
8. Improve sleep

- Now for the fun ones -

9. Feel good at the pool (nudest resort for me, but whatever)
10. Have people stop you and say wow
11. Gain self confidedance knowing you set and hit your goals
12. Finally get the opposite sex noticing you again (be it your spouse, partner, whatever)
13. Get members of the same sex noticing you (if that's what you're into)
14. Post sexier pics gaining more views and emails from people on AdultFriendFinder
15. Have people ask YOU how to get in shape.

Negatives

1. It requires discipline
2. You actually have to eat correctly to gain anything. (read that last sentence again). Nutrition is the BIGGEST key to this whole thing. You can run and lift weights, but if you are not feeding your body correctly with the best combination of protein and carbs, then you will not make very many gains and you will give up.
3. You may have to alter who you hang out with so as not to be tempted to go back to the unhealthy lifestyle that we've all gotten accustomed to.

That's it, essentially. This is really not hard. It's quite simple, but it's not easy. I recommend that you tell as many people about this effort as you see fit. We will all be here to support one another in our newly created group. The group is, Summer Body Makeover. I will do my best to answer as many questions as possible. I might need assistance from [blog freshmoe] in fielding questions as well. He is a personal friend of mine from Atlanta that has done this program w/ me in the past and we both achieved great gains.

Each of you will have different body styles that you want to achieve. Therefore, I will have to consider these when trying to help you which program to run with.

In every program that I've done, it's been suggested that you take a before picture, on your first day, to keep for reference. I, personally, take a new pic every week. This will allow you to actually see your gains. It will keep you motivated to keep going. Just think of that last final picture in the end!

There are three main types of programs that I have used and they are all great. One is to lose a crap load of fat. One is to gain a crap load of muscle (not concentrating too much on losing fat), and one is right in between. Think about what your goals are for the next 8 to 12 weeks, join the group above, and write a new topic to the group w/ what your goals are. This will help me suggest to you which program I would choose. If you want to do your own program, great! You can just use the group for support when you are not feeling up to doing it.

Ah well... Summer is already here in FL, so, I guess I will have to give it a try next year

I started back in the gym on Jan 8...been 3 months now!
Been real serious about it...sore all the time

Great post!!!! I'll help to if anyone needs it...(I used to be a personal trainer!) and FYI: Testosterone output increases in women as well when they work out...but not in a bad way!

I would sooooooo love your help on this. I thought testosterone increased in women as well, but I wasn't 100% certain, so I left that out. Thanks for the correction!

Wait, there's no "sex-er-size" program on that list???
OK, I started a couple mths ago... working on that "beauty sleep" program requires that I snuggle and often.
