6 a.m.

PLEASE !!!...Tell me what is it that construction workers do at 6 a.m. that they can't accomplish at 8 when EVERYONE( read Miss Coffee) 'S AWAKE?

This very morning I woke up to the sound of banging and sawing and loud shouting. Don't get me wrong...I would shout and scream too if I had to work at 6 a.m. It's just that there should be a law or something.

And when did all these lorries start beeping when they are in reverse? Lorries have been backing up for years in total blissful silence. Those were the good old days when you had to look where you were going.

So my dear readers....Today I write you with bags and dark circles beneath my eyes on the account of the horrible construction hours. I report at 6 a.m. to my computer, where I growl...grumble and nag until the coffee kicks in and I go.... BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP...

AAAAARGHHH.... Enjoy this lovely Monday !!

Well, they came at 7 am the other day to replace my roof!
Imaging the sounds of reaping and hammering! And it scared
my cats!

Maybe not the best idea for me to post on this topic.. <hides jackhammer and compressor>.. but somethings have to be done before the rush hour! I've had complaints from motorists saying "why cant you dig the road up in the middle of the night?....etc."

How about 00:00 to 4am?

PS - Find another way to keep you up all night my dear!

I am rather amazed that construction workers could make noise at 6 am. I always thought that, after arriving on site, they went for breakfast between 6 am 8 am. But perhaps I am just cynical.

Picture this, Coffee: lying in bed in a sweat, 4 a.M., no air condition, windows wide open and outside 27C degrees (80F) and 85% humidity, trains passing by, and then the workers, laying 500Kg iron rails, iron screeching on iron. All this for at least a week. Now you know why I've grown up so bad.

Never argue with an idiot. He brings you down to his level then beats you with experience
