Mysteries seeking...

Must one be so certain of that which he seeks? Is it no longer a choice to open ones heart and mind to anything that may lie ahead, to endless possibilities? Or do those possibilities close as soon as one is uncertain, flowing freely, not willing to impose a will? Why does she say, "To have me you must know what you want?" The voice of the stranger proclaims, "You must know that you want me." And he will think, who and what is this stranger to be so known and so desired with such certainty and, indeed, specificity? This stranger is an unknown and unknowing voice, a cry for an unknown that is required to appear certain. Foolish voice. There is no certainty but one, that there is no certainty but one. It is a mystery seeking a mystery, and thinking it is not.
