MInd wandering tonight-- Does yours?

Ever have a couple of days in which you find yourself doing a list of things that you have put off and once you start then you really do not feel like doing it? lol- Good then I am normal just like every one else.
Has any of you ever wandered what the term "Being too honest with someone" actually means? Well if you ever figure it out please tell me- I beleive that honesty is a great trait in anyone these days.

I agree Venus... my mind has been wandering and wondering a lot today....being too honest with someone can be to the point that the truth hurts because it wasn't done with tact; there is a way to be honest with someone without putting them on the defensive...

I think when someone says "being too honest", they mean to the point of telling the truth, even when it's NOT what the person who is listening WANTS to hear. It's a HORRIBLE trait among we Sagittarians! LOL! But, like you, I find that a wonderful refreshing thing.

My best friend stopped me from going out once in clothes that I thought were shit-hot and made me look sexy. She said I looked sleazy and trashy. I was hurt for about 2 days then I realized that she just didn't want anyone else to think I WAS a sleazy, trashy whore! She totally saved my reputation and my self-esteem that night! Now THAT is a BEST friend!

That's my perspective...and I am one of the world's WORST procrastinators when it comes to those LISTS you speak of! I've got "To Do's" from 1998, if I am not mistaken! ROFLMAO!

I tend to be very honest myself. I think the secret lies in diplomacy or delicacy so as not to be perceived as insulting. But many people can't accept the fact that they're responsible for their own actions so...

Too honest--too much information especially too soon or gratuitous
information that is at best, inconsequential and boring; at worst,

Honesty just has a way of shocking. Some people cant handle shocking news, honest or not. But everyone should agree that an honest shock is by far greater than a dishonest one. At least honesty is truth, and truth is better, even if it hurts to hear it. The line should read "The honest truth shall set you free"
