Who you'd be today.........

This is a new song by kenny Chesney titled "Who you'd be today....." I wanted to put it in my blog today as a dedication for my son and in remembrance of him.

Sunny days seem to hurt the most
Wear the pain like a heavy coat
I feel you everywhere I go
See your smile, I see your face
I hear you laughing in the rain
Still can't believe your gone

It ain't fair you died to young
Like a story that had just begun
But death tore the pages all away
God knows how I miss you
All the hell that I've been through
Just knowing, no one could take your place
Sometimes I wonder, who you'd be today

Would you see the world
Would you chase your dreams
Settle down with a family
I wonder what would you name your babies
Someday's the sky's so blue
I feel like I can talk to you
And I know it might sound crazy

It ain't fair you died to young
Like a story that had just begun
But death tore the pages all away
God knows how I miss you
All the hell that I've been through
Just knowing, no one could take your place
Sometimes I wonder, who you'd be today

Sunny days seem to hurt the most
I wear the pain like a heavy coat
The only thing that gives me hope
Is I know, I'll see you again someday

To lose a love is always painful Phoenix but to lose a loved one is devastating.Past and recooped however to an exent.Although the pain still resides, the memroies are great. At least I can say I did not have one bad memory with my son.I enjoyed every one of them and would live through them each again.

Man, that is so beautiful. having children myself, I can't even imagine the grief at the loss of one. BIG HUG going out to ya! there is one other thing I want to let ya know, THANKS for serving, and being there to save our way of life here. I personaly could not serve but was raised an ARMY BRAT and spent 18 months with my father at Arlington, during one of the saddest times in this nations history, VIETNAM. I will never forget the honor guard and the processions. Thank you and all who have served in peace and war times. Like Ermy says OOOOOH Rah!
