I love to sing. I love doing karaoke. I'm not a great singer, but its so much fun. Getting up there and performing for everyone is an adventure. It makes me really nervous and I work to overcome that and do a good performance.

Karaoke is my bar sport. Some people play darts and they practice in order to get better, some are great players and play on leagues. Others play pool, again some practice to get really good. I work on my singing and it gets better the more I practice and the more I do it.

I haven't done much singing in the last year and a half since my husband died. When one is that sad, the song seems to get trapped in the heart, or music brings back memories which make one cry. He used to sing his feelings to me with a few different country songs, last night people sang two of those songs and for a change the memory made me happy and not sad.

I'm happy to feel like singing again. But man, was I out of practice. My throat hurts a bit today.

Karaoke is a fun thing. I enjoy getting out there and singing as well. Glad to hear that some of the sadness is leaving you and you can be happy. Drink some tea and honey to help you out with that sore throat.
