Small World?

As I lay there this evening, resting various parts of my body, my mind wandered back to a conversation I had at work.

In my job we get a lot of visitors and, often, they stop for a chat. One of the nurses * who often has reason to call in seemed especially keen to chat and eventually the point was reached where the obvious question from me was "how do you spend your evenings?".

"I spend most of it online", she said, dear reader. Genuinely interested, I asked the next obvious question and she confided that she was a member of a "sex site with a BBW group and I chat with people online".

Granted I was a little surprised to have this come out in the middle of a gentle conversation but I didn't really get chance to react verbally before she moved the topic on to her latest boyfriend who, she confided, had "a cock like a child's arm" which she needs since, apparently, six children have taken their toll.

I have to confess that, even if I were interested, that would rule me out!

But now I can't help wondering if she's a member of this site in one of its various forms. Thinking about it, it seems quite likely ... and it's going to bug me until I find out! I'm just going to have to ask.

Or maybe she'll read this and I'll be saved the trouble

* There's a stereotype of nurses as a particularly beautiful species. This has always baffled me unless, for some reason, the inner beauty that leads them into a caring vocation is somehow reflected on the outside. Or maybe it's just the uniform?

You'll understand that, being surrounded by nurses every working day, I have taken the opportunity to check this out and my startling conclusion is that the QBI (Quiet Beauty Index) is indeed higher than that of the population as a whole. Or maybe I just like the uniform too?

Now I just need to find out why ...

At least now there is no chance of you producing number seven.

I guess the only way to find out is ask her or be like me and end up running into her or in my case him (2 neighbors) on here.

Albert ... Trust me on this one: there was NEVER any chance of me producing number seven!!!

Lioness860 ... You know, I've never had chance to evaluate animal nurses ... though there was once a nurse I knew who was a bit of an animal

Saddletrampsk ... I have been known to discuss matters sexual with colleagues in the past ... but I'm not keen to do so in this case. I get the sense that I'm teetering on the brink of an abyss into which I have no desire to plunge.

Greeneyes ... It really is a small world, isn't it? It hasn't happened to me so far but I do sometimes wonder if that person I'm talking to might happen to be someone I already know and sometimes I'll be sitting on the train and just wonder which of the people crammed into the carriage might be members. Of course, there's no way of telling ... who'd have thought I'd be a member?

Heheh... I don't hide my face here, and an acquaintance who happens to also be a member recently told me he saw my pix after doing a local search.

Care to expound on the QBI? Please?

Oh, I think I shall ask next time our paths cross.

In the meantime, the QBI is a comparative and standardised index of subjective attractiveness based upon a wide variety of both static and dynamic variable plus, where appropriate, a large element of interaction-based adjustment. It is complex beyond calculus. Fortunately, my subconscious seems to have evolved to calculate the QBI automatically ...

Naturally, all my respondents here score very highly

Dear Mr. TQG, I must say that my colleagues are the pinch of salt in my working life... I might make myself disliked for this, but it is a big illusion that nurses would ever ever, in 97 percent of the cases, find a patient attractive. I have no idea who started all this crap, but firstly this job is too serious, second, yes we do think of sex, but with our co-workers like physicians, nurses, physiotherapists etc etc and not with patinets, and thirdly slime being sucked out of some endotracheal tube does not have very much of erotics. Neither does the stench of urine and excrements, neither does helplessness or a momentary status of decay. So we enjoy turning our head to something fresh and vivid BESIDE the bed - not IN it.

I must say that nurses are not prettier than nother women. I donĀ“t know lol the most women in my life actually ARE nurses. And some are incredibly beautiful. Some are incredibly not.The inner beauty or the QBI - some are special. Some are hopelessly selfless, which is a pity. Some are naiv. Some are actually too good for the job.. yes...
