A rant about the magazine section of AFF

The CEO is going to be discussing the magazine section in his blog in the near future.

I joined a completely free site several days ago that has discussion forums (similer to the mag section of this site) and they had volunteer moderators.

They dont allow gender specific questions, off topic questions, phucktards, spamming to increase post count etc.

Even with these rules, the debates can get heated, but that is ok.......the majority of people in the advice lines, I bet, would love it if the nonsense bullshit would be deleted.

Livinloser AKA Kmunch, the nutcase in the advice lines, would be quickly deleted in that other site.

I am also for deleting the MOST RESPECTED RESPONDER list too.

Any other ideas by anybody ?

I am sure when the CEO of the site starts discussing this, we will all have a lot to say ?

not only should liverloserllama be deleted permanently, but bathtubscum as well. his racist, sexist, misogynistic diatribes have got to go! anyone who goes against the t.o.u. should be given 3 chances only, warnings twice, third strike you're gone permanently. i too, am sick of the bullshit!!! if they clean the site up, i'd consider being a paying member.

I think the only way these people are going to be gone is if they get bored.

There are several people that used to be regulars in the magazine that are still around but post very little, if at all there, because of the glitches and because there is no meat.

You know, a couple of weeks ago I called customer service when that guy livin whatever posted something calling mcorvi a racist remark. I pointed out to him about the bathrobe guy and asked if the magazine was monitored. He was not happy I asked that and said they did have staff monitoring that section daily. When I asked why then people were posting incest and animals stuff he became very quiet and didnt know what to say. It is sad. I am sure many members of the site will volunteer to monitor the magazine. It is a shame.

    Kofla?
The customer service guy was full of shit...it has been a while since I saw or heard of anything deleted in the magazine section of the site in a hurry.

As far as volunteer moderators go, I have no idea how you go about choosing the people.

I have no idea how that other site does it......I dont even think the people know who the volunteer mods are in order to protect themselves from harassment....they use a mod profile, not their profile when they do mod stuff.

I am sure livinloser has several profiles that he uses to vote positively on his stuff.......I cannot believe that many people would vote EXCELLENT for his bullshit....that is a sad person.

I never cared for votes.....I dont vote....

This oceanus guy is probably him too....the guy may have a pic but the person cannot be identified.

These guys are playing games and I wish people would ignore them.....I avoid posting in his stuff...I posted in his threat one..but when people dont post, his stuff goes away.

AdultFriendFinder should be ashamed of themselves....there should be rules about what is posted in the advice lines, the rock of the magazine.....at the moment anything goes.....it is just a joke.

When this CEO starts his blog on it, I am sure he is going to get a blast from many of the regulars, some of whom now avoid the place.

I hear he is not finished with the groups....when all those upgrades are done, he should start with the magazine.

I dont know who that person is, but I am not surprised. I started going to the magazine for a very short time and then decided not to go there anymore cause there was too many people responding rudely to people. I just didnt see it as a friendly environment, not to say there arent nice people there, sure there are alot, but I just couldnt handle the rudeness to some of the new members. If AdultFriendFinder did decide to pick mods, they would probably pick some of the top responders, just like in the groups where the moderators delete their profile and they pick the most active person in that group and either ask them to be mod or just make them a mod. But then who knows...

Shelly, I think the reason you see a lot of rudeness in the magazine is because they are frustrated with AdultFriendFinder not taking action.

We have this guy livinloser posting nonsense in the Advice Lines...people have reported him and reported him.....the site doesnt do anything.....so people take it out on him and anyone else who posts nonsense shit and sometimes some people get caught in crossfire.

Any other place would take action.

I think if you get rid of the Most Respected Responders in the Advice Line you have to get rid of Active Bloggers too and Article Posters.
What's the rationale for getting rid of it in the Advice Line only?

I agree, when the CEO takes questions on this there will be a swarm

You'd have to agree though, his attention should be focused more on the scam pay sites and fake profiles if he has to choose.

I have been against using the word RESPECTED in the responder list before the blogs even existed.

I have made suggestions to AdultFriendFinder to either change the name or get rid of the list....the reason was because in the not too distant past, the same people were on the list in the same order every day week after week.

The article poster list ?.......many of the people on that list have been people that cut and paste stuff......there have been people on that list that posted jokes they found on net and in books....I know of people that have wanted that list gone too but it is not my thing.

I consider the active blogger thing a popularity thing....there are some very intelligent people that write good stuff and it gets little or no attention and then you got some people that can post nothing of substance and it will get pages of replies. I know exactly why. SOME people are posting in the popular blogs so they can get attention to themselves. When they do this, they make that person more popular. Do I have a problem with this ? NO....it is better than the old system and if you put in a big effort in your writing you can get attention too.
