Sleeping disorders, anyone?

There are those nights when I can snooze all the way through and wake up refreshed and hopeful.

There are those nights when I cannot and I stay awake with a million worries in my brain and still I run pell-mell out the door the next day like I'd just gotten twenty years' worth.

I'm beginning to come to the conclusion that the sleep life, just like everything else in my life, is always going to be one big questionable thing that can change colors at anytime.

And dreams? Sometimes there are none. Sometimes there are bizarre ones. Sometimes there are scary ones.

It's almost funny that I should be slightly more apprehensive when I'm getting ready to lie down at night than I am sometimes getting up for the day!!!

It's nice to see that somebody else has a problem sleeping too. And when you wake up in the middle of the night after having one of those dreams and you just lie there thinking, "What the hell was that all about?". Then you try to get back to sleep but the dream is keeping you awake. If only the dreams were wet ones.

Glad that I am not the only one with sleeping problem. I go to bed at about 2.00a.m. and am awake at 5.30a.m. I work a full day and still do not feel sleepy. I wish just for once I could go to bed early and have that 8 hours sleep like the doctors say. I am not stressed but just that I cannot fall asleep.

You asked about "sleep disorders"..

Look in any phone book.. the hospitals, etc.. there are many many sleep study centers.

Because thousands have them and are unaware.. they just know they do NOT feel rested..

The illness of sleep disorder is a SILENT KILLER.. like undiagnosed cancer.. the body without good regular sleep will die much quicker.

I'm about ready to give up sleep because it's interfering with my insomnia. LOL
