Little Loved one lost...but found

Never had a chance to grow up with the kid.

But now, after years later in my life, I finally have come to know him. He has love in his heart that cannot be compared to any other.

He's the child of my father's second marriage, and even though he lives a turbulent life (such that I never know how I might reach him), he does keep in touch with me at times.

He's five years younger than me, and he's got a heart of gold. He's my half-brother, and I feel so lucky to have had the chance to finally know him.

Thanks for sharing this bit of family information with us.

I have two brothers and two sisters, the youngest being eight years older than me. One sister has two kids, the other sister has four kids, and one grandkid, one brother has five kids (two are twins), and my other brother has no kids.

I grew up with four nephews and three nieces when I was only a kid myself. But I lost all contact with everyone in my family. And have no way of contacting them.

I am so glad that you are happy to have a brother (even if he is only half-brother). He is a part of your family, and as such, he means something to you. You hold him close to your heart. Hold onto him and don't let him go.

I am sorry to hear that your parents did not stay together. Your parents divorced, and then you had a half-brother. But you may not even have known him that long ago. I wish all couples would stay together. But the truth is, most do not.

I hope that you and your half-brother have lots of good times together, and will cherish each and every moment forever.

I really should keep in touch with my half-brother more.
(I have one about 5 years younger than me as well.)
