BLOG ON! *** Chapter 15

It was Thursday afternoon, about 3:30 pm, and Karen Kitrane had not yet heard from Steve Strong. The day had warmed considerably in Augusta, Georgia, with the sun shining brightly. Karen had been busy all day in her downtown craft shop and finally had a little break. She walked back to the small kitchen area in the back of her shop and poured herself a cup of coffee. Since that would be her last cup of the day, she poured the remainder down the sink and cleaned up the coffee maker.

She sat down at her desk and looked at the phone. Had she given Steve her number here at the shop? And then, at that precise moment, the phone rang. Her heartbeat quickened, and she felt butterflies in her stomach. Looking at the Caller ID, Karen could see it was Steve calling from Albany, Georgia. She picked up the receiver.

"Hi Steve! It's you, isn't it?" she asked.

"Yah, baby, it's me! Good to hear your lovely voice!" Steve complimented her. Now, that was something that Luke, her husband, just rarely did any longer.

"I've got everything taken care as far as hotel reservations, and I've taken the liberty to get us some dinner reservations for Saturday night at a nice restaurant I'm familiar with near the hotel. How does that sound, sweetie?" Steve anxiously sought her approval.

"Awwwh, that sounds really great, Steve! Are you tryin' to impress me, baby?" Karen was comfortable teasing Steve even though they had only met face-to-face once before. But they had spent a lot of time chatting over the internet and talking on the telephone.

"Yah, foxy, I wanna impress you! What I really wanna do is get you in bed and make love to you all night long! How would that be?" Now Steve was teasing her.

"I want you to fuck my brains out this weekend, Steve! I need to be fucked hard! I hope that restaurant you're taking me to can feed us fast, so we can get back out of there and go to our room! If not, I might just have to suck your cock right there in the restaurant!" Karen was becoming increasingly aggressive and aroused.

"Oh, baby, I love it when you talk dirty to me!" Steve was surprised how hot Karen was sounding. This, he thought to himself, was going to be a great weekend!

"I'm so hot right now, my pussy is on fire and my panties are wet! I want you to lick my clit and eat my pussy real good for me Saturday night! And don't you go to sleep on me either. I want you to fuck me and play with me all damned night!" Karen intended to bust loose this weekend. She was angry at Luke and she wanted Steve to fuck her. Karen and Luke had not had sex since their summer vacation last year and that had been nearly 9 months ago.

"Don't worry about that, baby! I'm resting up and planning to get lots of sleep tonight and Friday night. I'll be ready for you. My cock is getting hard just thinking about you!" Steve was not lieing to her. A bulge was rising in his trousers.

"Steve, I'm planning to leave here at 8 am. I'll get into Atlanta around 10 am. I've got a little business to do, but I'll be in the hotel lobby at 12 o'clock noon. Will you be there?" Karen asked.

"Oh, yah, baby! I'll be there! I can't wait. I wanna see you so badly!" Steve sounded sincerely thrilled about their weekend rendezvous.

"Me too, Steve, me too!" Karen replied in a soft and sexy voice.

"Well, I guess I better let you go now?" Steve suggested in a questioning tone.

"Yes, I need to start closing down the shop here. Steve, you know this will be new territory for me, don't you?" Karen was feeling nervous again about the weekend they had planned.

"Honey, I completely understand. It will be OK, and if you have second thoughts this weekend, I'll respect that. You know I will!" Steve reassured her as best he knew how.

"I know, Steve. You are so understanding, and I really appreciate you more than you might know!" Karen really did feel close to Steve and felt that they were becoming soulmates.

"Karen, I'll see you Saturday, sweetie. I want you to know how much I care for you, and I am prepared to go slower if you need that." Steve was falling in love with a woman he had only met in person once before.

"I know, Steve, I know. I'll see you Saturday!" Karen said.

"Saturday, sweetie!" Steve replied.

Thanks for dropping by, Micah! I started this book idea a couple months ago and now I just want to finish it. There will be multiple storylines, so it will be long. I will probably lose readers because of that unless I can keep the chapters short and the writing style interesting. Both will be a big challenge for me!

Woohoo! Back on track!!! Glad to see it. Though the poems, prayers and lyrics have been entertaining, they're not always easy to comment on.

    Welcome back, Karen and Steve!
Welcome back, nah64! I'm determined to get this thing done now that I've started in but I'm afraid this going to be a long story!

I love how you have make Karen complex. Like Isaid before, I feel like her and in her shoes, she needs to be complex.

I'm sorry you are feeling like Karen, hon! I hope you can work it out or failing that, I hope you can find someone to be happy with once again. Karen loved her husband, Luke, and he loved her. Work, kids and lack of attention to one another is destroying their marriage. Neither Karen nor Luke seem to recognize the early warning signs, and I am afraid they will be getting a divorce in this story. It doesn't have to be, but that is what will happen. Karen will like the attention she will receive from Steve Strong. Unfortunately, this will not satisfy long-term. That happens, you know. So, if you are considering something drastic, please look before you leap, hon! There are ultimately problems of one sort or another in any relationship. At least, that's my take on things. What matters is how we work through the problems and stressful times. I wish you all the very best on that, hon!
