Wife of a future MP????

ummm I guess this tittle would suffice..
Hubby comes home today with a piece of paper in hand says what do you think of this...

It's a paper listing the perks for re-enlistment for prior servicemen if my husband were to join the National Gaurd ..Looking at him curiously I ask why.. he says he talked to his co-worker who is 1st Sgt. of said unit and they need members since enlistments are down and he knew my husband being a former Marine ( 94-96) thought my husband would be interested..Well my husband is going to sign the papers withing the month of Nov exactly 9 years since he left the USMC how ironic is that!

Let me say this my husband was discharged from the USMC due to he was an only child and his mom was extremely ill just 48hrs uponing returning home his mom had 5 massive heart attacks yet lived
she died a year ago 6 days before my husband's 28th birthday.. his father died 4 months and 28 days later

Anyways had this not been an issue my husband would have made the USMC his career and we probably would have never crossed paths..

In a way I am excited for him he can finally live his dream of serving once again in the Miltary but I can't say I don't like the possibilty of him being shipped off someday.. and just maybe this will help us make our marriage stronger.. he has always felt life dealt him cruel hands but now he will finally for once do something he intended to do before life intervened so dramatically..

And for those curious ever since my blog about my marriage being rocky.. we are doing really good we have talked more and laughed than we have in the last year..maybe venting was just what I needed..anyways thanks for all the support you guys are great ((hugs)) I'll keep you updated..

To my hubby.. I'm proud of you!!!!

I welcome you to the House of Syn...

Synn74...

Wow! What a difference only 8 days can make! This is truly a miracle reconciliation! I went back and reread your posting of 10/19. Apparently, the honest venting and talking has really helped you guys! Congrats to your husband on his reenlistment into the National Guard! My thoughts and prayers are with you.
