The sweetness of life can be found in shared moments of laughter and love.

This is a very true statement. Things shared are always better, in my opinion. I have a friend, but a friendship that is ending. However, I do care much about this friend and enjoy a meal with her more than anyone. Its just easy to sit and talk to her and enjoy a meal. Our friendship is ending because she wants more from me than a friendship, but then thats another blog post entirely. I don't like going out to eat alone, in fact, I dont really like doing much of anything alone. A shower alone is ok cause you then don't have to worry about dropping the soap and having to bend over to retrieve it...lol. So I either cook for myself, which isn't often, or just get my food "to go" and bring it home and eat alone. To be honest, I am pretty much tired of the alone thing altogether. Shared moments of laughter and love is a nice thought tho, wouldn't you agree? I have heard "I love you" from 1 person in the last 6 years of my life. When I first heard it, I almost couldn't believe it. Not that I am not loveable, mind you, but just that someone felt it and spoke it to me. After my husband left me, I didn't think I would ever hear it again. Hearing it, from someone other than family, will make me cry. For someone to truly love me, is something that has been elusive to me. So, I am looking for some good karma. I treat others with love and kindness and respect. Now its my turn. Ok love, its time for you to come my way, so I can say with all honesty and experience..... The sweetness of life can be found in shared moments of laughter and love.

Hearing the words I LOVE YOU are nice. I just ended a relationship where I told her the words I love you but never heard it back. now I face the challenge of being alone. Will i ever hear those words. I believe you will hear those words and I have hope I will hear those words

Skye, I am hoping the same thing, and am working on that. Who knows, maybe it will be you, my dear. Yes, maybe it will be you.
