Each flower
is a voice of nature,
quietly bringing its song
to the morning
and adding grace
to the day.

We are those voices. We have a voice for a reason, but its not always our actual voice that speaks for us. A smile, a wave, letting someone go in front of us in the checkout line in the store or bank, or as we are driving.

And then sometimes, our voices can do more than just speak words. Was in the grocery store once, feeling so down trodden, so alone, so lonely. Was just going thru the store getting my things. And having a pity party for myself. Out of the blue, a woman walked up to me and told me she loved my hair and that it really was pretty. Now I bet you that woman had no idea what she had done that day. She totally made my day, week, and month!! She reached out and verbally touched my heart and made me feel like I mattered.

I try to pass it on. I will smile at someone I don't know, just because. Just last week, I was leaving the grocery store (hmmm, I am there alot, aren't I?) and there was an older gentleman there, with a cane, trying to get out of the store pushing his cart to his car. I offered to help him, and he turned and smiled and said, "I'd appreciate that." So, I pushed the cart to his car, unloaded his purchases into his trunk, told him to have a great day, and walked to my car and drove home.

So just remember, we don't always have to talk and use our physical voices, to add grace, love, kindness and generosity to the day and someone's life.
