Obscure lyrical quote of the day

"she's my cherry pie...
cool drink of water,
such a sweet suprise...
taste so good,
make a grown man cry..."

song: Cherry Pie
CD: Cherry Pie
Artist: Warrant

...yes! she is ...you may know of who i speak, or perhaps not... either way, i'll be scarce for the next 10 days as i'll be otherwise... occupied

that and we're breaking in a new (and far superior to our last one) drummer, we're practicing on weekends now as well as every weekday, getting prepared for recording the CD, plus work...

busy hands are happy hands... and my hands are HAPPY! hope yours are too

photo icon is original artwork: Live at the Hollywood Sportatorium (pencil sketch of my garage band...) 1977 another classroom doodle, the hollywood sportatorium was once a HUGE mega venue for large acts... the first concert i ever saw was there... Rush's hemisphere's tour. it was torn down years ago and is now a shopping center. another tid-bit... that's "supposed" to be me at the mic, and my band's new drummer is the same guy behind the kit in the drawing nice to come full circle! same drummer (and guitarist/lead singer) in Live in Orbit too, the photo icon i posted a few weeks ago Obscure lyrical quote of the day , though then i didn't know my drummer was about to quit and vince was available. gotta love fate eh?

What a coincidence. A couple of months ago, the New Haven Colusium was torn down. That was where I saw my first concert - Van Halen's 5150. It was the actual show where they filmed "Live... Without a Net." Saw many a cool shows there, now it's rubble. Ah well....

Ah, Its you again, Your Angel Feathers and your Blood Stains...

Hey Sorcero, (for some reason I like leaving the lasr 'r' off and pronoucing it like your're an Indian out of a rare and unpublished Castaneda book)

I saw Rush around 1980 but I think it was the Pemanent Waves tour. WHich ever one it was the warmup act was The Pat Travers band and they totally kicked ass!

All the members were great but I was particularly tuned into Mars Cowling the bassist and Tommy ALdridge the drummer. Recently I read and interview by Aldridge who remembers the days of touring with Travers fondly saying they had a great and friendly cammeraderie with all the band members and that it was a really fun touring act.

It really showed in the music itself.

ANyways I hope your music situation goes well. Ever had the result of bad feelings between others in any band you've been in express itself in a live performance?

I wish we could post sound stuff in our blogs.

MMM [ MMM

" Ever had the result of bad feelings between others in any band you've been in express itself in a live performance?"

nope... not yet anyways lol! but i've seen the results of what happens when our (now ex-drummer) drummer went into the tank during a performance... that was ugly! ...for half a set he played like the off-beat dancing man
