Saturday, so let

6:27am and 54 degrees here in the east. I am up but do not have much to do today so I am going to rest up and relax today. It is good sometimes to have little to do, since we spend so much time doing things! I do have to get out to Wally World this morning, it is best to go in the early AM, less crowd. More later!
Laundry done, been to the Wally World, had breakfast, lunch is coming up and life is getting good. A bit rainy here in the area today but it is 59 degrees and that ain't bad for February. You know? I was driving to the store a while ago this morning and have just about had it with the way people drive. Have you noticed a continuing decline in the abilities of most drivers? Old, young, in between, it seems not to matter. Turning every which way they choose from anyplace. Running at the wrong speed, either too fast or too slow for the road and the conditions they are on. Turn signals? Are you kidding me? I think the bulbs in most turn signal lights are destined to last for a very long time since they hardly ever get used. If you just aim or drift your vehicle in the direction you intend to go, everyone else should be able to figure out what your intentions are, right? That is what it seems like. Any wonder there are more and more accidents on the highways? Just makes me crazy and there seems to be no one paying attention to it. Life in the 21st century I guess, but it is time some of us decided to do something about all this madness.
Ok, it is dark now and I have been out for my evening meal, back to the house and no one here but me. Really nice feeling, but of course that will not last, the old witch will be back sometime tonight, darn the luck! LOL I hope anyone who reads this post will take to heart what I had to say about how people drive. I saw the same crap on my way to and from the restaurant this evening and it is getting to epidemic proportions. The ill considered habits behind the wheel in this country are not to be accepted. If the police had to stop all of this they could, but of course they are working on other more serious matters most of the time, I hope! I still like to see them pull over speeders and other idiots on the highway. We all have a hard enough time getting around safely without the people who just do not care who is on the road with them. Driving is a participation sport I always say! That is why there are rules and if everyone obeys the rules, then things go well most times. Occasionally they do not but that is truly one of the things that can be called an accident, rather than blaming stupidity on having an accident. Remember, cars do not kill people, people kill people with cars, guns, baseball bats, etc. No difference! Sleep tight tonight peeps, nite, nite!
p.s. Spell checker is still broke on this page, some surprise huh?
