Saturday, Happy 4th weekend!

62 degrees this morning and the holiday weekend is off and running. I do not have any plans for the weekend nor for the actual day on Tuesday. I have to work on Monday and then I have Tuesday off and then have to work on Wednesday. This year it suits me just fine and I may get an invitation to a cookout on the 4th, but not sure yet. I do know this, I am not buying any gas this weekend, not at the inflated just for the occasion prices. Of course there are the other idiots out there that do not care about the cost or what impact it has on everything we use, do, or want. If we do not wake up and pay attention to this crisis, we are going to suffer way more than anyone has seen to date. The forces of evil in the world are working to bring the US down and we are helping them do it. You don't believe me? Just take a look around and you will see, if you choose too. Our Independence from England and the tyranny of kings and queens was hard fought and won by the blood of thousands. We are still fighting those forces, they just have different names. Our men and women are dying to protect us here so that we can live free. If for no other reason than respect for their sacrifice, we need to do all we can to help put this country on the right track again. Our values are in the dumper, our lifestyles are excessive and we are going to pay the price for it. So, have a joyous holiday weekend and try and remember what the hell it is you are celebrating. It is not just a day or two off from work, there is far more at stake here.
Sanity check "Chrysler Group on Saturday said it will resume production of the Dodge Challenger in 2008 after more than three decades as it takes aim at nostalgia for the U.S. muscle car era." And what is wrong with this picture? I keep saying we need to conserve energy and these idiots come along and say this! What the hell is our country coming too? I am not sure we have any sane people left in this nation. Government, big business and the private sector, just riddled with idiots! We are surely in for a rough time because of it.
Well it is time for me to put this post to bed, I am sure most of you are glad. It has not been a stellar day in my life, just one that I managed to get through and not screw up to much of anything. Nite, nite, peeps, sleep well. Save some energy when you get the chance, or buy a gas guzzler, it does not matter to many of our fellow countrymen.
