So ladies... what works in an e-mail?

Been having a great time reading DCEbony's hilarious installment of "What Not to Say in an E-mail" (Good Goobledy Goop, DC ) and just ran across Greeneyesatl05 post, basically regarding the same subject. So ladies help the guys out. What works?

What NOT to write, hmmmm...

First of all never lie or elaborate. I get so many emails from people here that say "You're so beautiful" or something along those lines and they haven't even seen my face. How do they know? I don't post face pics. I'd rather keep my anonymity.

Repeatedly sending the same thing over and over and over in an email. If they don't answer the first time chances are they aren't going to.

Personally, I don't like the harsh and brutal gutter talk in a first email. Maybe it's just me but I like to be stimulated mentaly first. Maybe some gals do. Can't advise on that one.

I appreciate when the man has bothered to read my profile, as I have bothered to write one(including the "naughty" second page)

If it appears we have NOTHING in common(he just being attracted to a pic perhaps) then either skip writing the email entirely or just say, "nice pic!"; but when someone is giving out their home phone, their business phone, and their cell phone numbers WITHOUT even having a common ground seems a tad odd to me at the least.(besides being somewhat risky)

And any man who even bothers to click on my profile should be able to tell that "yo baby, you want summa dis?" isn't going to inspire me to write back.

So, perhaps tailoring your email to address the common interests you have, the things that caught your eye about the profile, or something they said in a blog might be the way to go!

And gentlemen: sending out duplicates of your first "canned" email, does not add to your appeal--it just makes the women roll their eyes at you!

Curious- ( sizzle sitting on couch with an encyclopedia and a warm glass of milk for the kitty...) Hmmm...you don't say!

Katey- I don't think you could ever be invisible

Playful- LOL. Do guys send out "canned e-mail?" I'm appalled and shocked at my brethren.
Thanks for stopping thru.

At my age I don't care what they say. I have 2 requirements in a woman.

1. Breathing
2. Able to drive at night

Both are negotiable.

Why Katie darling, I have been composing just the right response to slide into your box... uh...I mean send to your mail box. Trust me, I am thinking. Didn't you smell something burning?
