Slave no more

I was a slave for 10 years. Not in an S&M or Sub/Dom sense, I was a smoker. There are many reasons why I decided last night was my last smoke. I just felt it was time to end, especially since I had not intended for it to go on this long.

Yes, many people talk about quitting this early on and you see them in a week or two with another smoke. You have to realize a couple things about me: first, I was smoking "black & milds" which are pipe tobacco; second, I had quit a battle against soda drinks that was causing me ill health. One summer, I drank 100 cans and 32 2-litres of Mountain dew inside a month. Thats roughly 3344ozs or 167 of 20oz bottles. Of course, that was 14 years ago. But I have drank a comparible amount during those 14 years.

So I hope you wish me good thoughts in my currently decision of quitting slavery of smoking. I'm certainly looking forward to spending the money on other things.

And unlike a lot of folks who quit and join the smoker haters club, you can be at ease. I have nothing against smoking or smokers. You're an adult and are free to make your own choices.

I wish u luck in quitting smoking. Even tho u sound like a pretty determined guy and may not need it. But its nice to know that someone wishes u the best

I wish I had that willpower and could just quit myself. I have tried many times but I guess when the time is right then I will be able to just put them down and be done with it.

Take care and have a great day!

If I see u in the Ohio chatroom I will say hi!

Thanks for the support. It's not an easy thing to do, and you really have to be in the right mind frame to be successful at quitting smoking. Best of luck when that time comes for you.

I look forward to saying hi back!

So far it's been amazingly easy. Now if a woman were to screw my brains out...well, I'd still refrain from a smoke.
